Yeah. This is my dream hair style for the moment. I never had patience for long hair, and all the maintenance that goes with it, and all the connotations society traditionally attaches to those who wear it. This do is mohawked at the back and takes all of five minutes to style. And it is a reflection of my creative, imaginative side. The one I always tried to hide so I can fit in.
But, I wear the hair, not the other way around. I am still the dutiful, conservative, and responsible person at the core. It is just that I am also learning to acknowledge the other parts of me: the quirky, the weird, the offbeat, goofball side I never really let show.
I guess you can call this: becoming.
